QUATTRONOTTI is a special Negroamaro Passito, whose grapes were unusually harvested at night. The grapes of this vineyard had reached the maximum wilting point. To avoid damaging grapes, farmers didn’t harvest them mechanically in the afternoon as usual. Grapes were carefully harvested by hand at night, in order to avoid further exposure to sunlight. The name QUATTRONOTTI is in memory of the 4 nights that farmers spent to harvest the grapes by hand.
