Fletris literally means “grapes ripened in wood”. This name was chosen to recall the grape typology used to produce this wine and its refining method. For this special project the wine first aged in barriques of second passage soon after the harvest. But it was later transferred in barriques of first passage to take all the character and aromas of the wood. The branch and the colors of the label were designed to recall the wood.
